Using DeploymentPro with Migration Wiz

One of the issues around migrations from Tenant to Tenant, or even from On Premises to Cloud, is when and how to cutover the Outlook client. Often in migrations in the field we were organizing helpdesk visits for users and piles of instructions that they wouldn’t read properly, only to end up fielding loads of phone calls when things didn’t work right.

The solution is to schedule the cutover to Outlook automatically, so that when the migration finishes then the user sees the prompts that guide them through the process. Not a complicated one though, it just involves setting a new password for their new account on the tenant and then creating the new profile for them. Single app, no other instructions needed, walk through style process. Very little for them to actually do or get wrong.

In this video I take you through the entire process end to end, showing how you would get the agents on the machines to start with, manage the migration, schedule the cutover and then show a walkthrough of exactly what the client sees.
